Probably the most photographed view in Melbourne. Standing atop the Princes Bridge which spans the Yarra River, tourists walking from the Arts Centre to Flinders St Station stop and take a selfie with this view behind them. I have wanted to snap this for years but as usual it’s hard work to snap your own city, as we had a great day in Melbourne I knew the sunset was going to be memorable , so I thought I would don my tourist hat on and capture it. Boy it didn’t let me down. On the left is Southgate, which is full of delicious eateries and bars. On the right is the historical Flinders St Station in which Arbory has hijacked the last platform and turned it in to a popular Bar. In Summer you can see the floating bar that  is immensely popular from September to April. As the sun sets straight ahead a beautiful glow is bestowed upon us with an abundance of beautiful colours.

Paper:

Ilford Galerie Crystal Gloss (290gsm): This stunning paper offers photographers the ability to print images with a true ‘wow’ factor. The iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look ensuring that each print truly comes to life. We place a matting around the image to add depth to the overall look.

Ink:

Epsons Ultrachrome K3 inks are pigment based. They offer strong deep blacks, rich shadow detail and a broad smooth colour gamut, allowing for prints of tremendous impact. Independent print permanence tests indicate the lifespan of these inks when used on high quality papers as over 100 years before visible fading occurs.

Printer:

We print on our EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 printer with top of the range SERENDIPITY MEGARIP and expertly profiled by Les Walking ensuring consistency and quality every time. The 9 colour Epson UltraChrome K3 archival pigment ink system has the broadest colour gamut in its class. We can print to a maximum image width of 60inch by any length at the highest 2880dpi resolution. The Epson 11880 can print on all types of media with clarity, colour balance and precision.
