Every effort on this Gallery site has been made to accurately represent the vibrant colours of Sam’s images. Due to differences in computer screens and certain other variations, the images here should only to be taken as a guide. Obviously, the colour and sharpness of a finished print are far superior to what can be presented on a small screen.

In our own backyard, Wilsons Promontory is a place I visit frequently. This 21km walk round trip takes you from the Western to the Eastern side of The Prom. Initially, it’s a gradual climb through thick mountain forest to Windy Saddle, which, as the name suggests, is exposed to the elements. From here, there are glorious views on both sides of the promontory. The rest of the walk to Sealers Cove is an easy, downhill gradient. There is also a section of boardwalks built across a swamp; remnants of a rainforest of Blackwood and Lilly Pilly. Sealers Cove is a picturesque, circular cove boasting glassy turquoise water, golden sand, and a shady campground. This day we had the beach all to ourselves, surreal feeling. Just make sure you take repellent for March Flies as they are huge and they bite.
