Every effort on this Gallery site has been made to accurately represent the vibrant colours of Sam’s images. Due to differences in computer screens and certain other variations, the images here should only to be taken as a guide. Obviously, the colour and sharpness of a finished print are far superior to what can be presented on a small screen.
Hatshepsut Temple
$210.00 – $2,700.00
If you have been to this phenomenal temple you would understand what a task it was having no people in it. Fortunately, I was in Egypt when there was some political turmoil so there weren’t many tourists anyway so to make it devoid of people I used a 15-minute shutter opening. The Temple of Hatshepsut is not only a memorial temple that honours Queen Hatshepsut, but it is also one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. Designed by Senenmut (Hatshepsut’s steward and architect), this mortuary temple closely resembles the classical Greek architecture of 1,000 years later.
