Another must on the travel calendar, Yosemite National Park in California is truly breathtaking. Of course, me being me just didn’t want to take the shot from the viewing point so I managed to wrangle myself into the most awkward spot I have ever taken a photo in. Hanging upside down of a structure to place the tripod in the water then holding it for 20 seconds while I took the shot was a physical experience I can go without. I didn’t think it would work as I thought the water would’ve moved the tripod but it didn’t. Someone was looking after me. Hope you enjoy it. Every time I look at this shot I think pain.

Paper:

Ilford Galerie Crystal Gloss (290gsm): This stunning paper offers photographers the ability to print images with a true ‘wow’ factor. The iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look ensuring that each print truly comes to life. We place a matting around the image to add depth to the overall look.

Ink:

Epsons Ultrachrome K3 inks are pigment based. They offer strong deep blacks, rich shadow detail and a broad smooth colour gamut, allowing for prints of tremendous impact. Independent print permanence tests indicate the lifespan of these inks when used on high quality papers as over 100 years before visible fading occurs.

Printer:

We print on our EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 printer with top of the range SERENDIPITY MEGARIP and expertly profiled by Les Walking ensuring consistency and quality every time. The 9 colour Epson UltraChrome K3 archival pigment ink system has the broadest colour gamut in its class. We can print to a maximum image width of 60inch by any length at the highest 2880dpi resolution. The Epson 11880 can print on all types of media with clarity, colour balance and precision.
