Azure means Blue. This lovely spot is on an Island called Gozo which is next to Malta. Being Maltese myself I have been here a number of times and I knew I needed to capture this beautiful landmark. Clash of the Titans and a few other movies have been filmed here. Getting to this spot was a great challenge as it was during Winter but I made it. Unfortunately, the roof has collapsed now so don’t get angry at me when you go and it’s not there. I will go back to capture it without the roof. Balancing the light here was a real challenge along with a 15-minute shutter.

Paper:

Ilford Galerie Crystal Gloss (290gsm): This stunning paper offers photographers the ability to print images with a true ‘wow’ factor. The iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look ensuring that each print truly comes to life. We place a matting around the image to add depth to the overall look.

Ink:

Epsons Ultrachrome K3 inks are pigment based. They offer strong deep blacks, rich shadow detail and a broad smooth colour gamut, allowing for prints of tremendous impact. Independent print permanence tests indicate the lifespan of these inks when used on high quality papers as over 100 years before visible fading occurs.

Printer:

We print on our EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 printer with top of the range SERENDIPITY MEGARIP and expertly profiled by Les Walking ensuring consistency and quality every time. The 9 colour Epson UltraChrome K3 archival pigment ink system has the broadest colour gamut in its class. We can print to a maximum image width of 60inch by any length at the highest 2880dpi resolution. The Epson 11880 can print on all types of media with clarity, colour balance and precision.
