Daunting yet beautiful, Lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona is a wonderful experience. It starts by descending through a narrow crevice which looks like a crack in the rock than all of a sudden your eyes are greeted with rock from which rain and wind have made an abstract art form. Don’t get me wrong these Canyons can be a death trap if rain starts, a few people have lost their lives after being trapped. The floor trails are extremely narrow and quite often you are walking heel and toe. You will notice a few different variations I have captured.

Paper:

Ilford Galerie Crystal Gloss (290gsm): This stunning paper offers photographers the ability to print images with a true ‘wow’ factor. The iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look ensuring that each print truly comes to life. We place a matting around the image to add depth to the overall look.

Ink:

Epsons Ultrachrome K3 inks are pigment based. They offer strong deep blacks, rich shadow detail and a broad smooth colour gamut, allowing for prints of tremendous impact. Independent print permanence tests indicate the lifespan of these inks when used on high quality papers as over 100 years before visible fading occurs.

Printer:

We print on our EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 printer with top of the range SERENDIPITY MEGARIP and expertly profiled by Les Walking ensuring consistency and quality every time. The 9 colour Epson UltraChrome K3 archival pigment ink system has the broadest colour gamut in its class. We can print to a maximum image width of 60inch by any length at the highest 2880dpi resolution. The Epson 11880 can print on all types of media with clarity, colour balance and precision.
